Senior Technical Writer

Location: Buena

Job Status:  Full Time
     
Job Summary:
Responsible for the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and various validation documents.

Reporting Relationships:  Individual Contributor

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Deliver documentation that is accurate, comprehensive, clear, searchable, and trustworthy
  • Assists in the development of User Requirement Specifications and other relevant facility start-up documentation.
  • Creates, communicates, and supports commitment to quality and compliance standards.
  • Recommends quality improvements and manages actions to their conclusion.
  • Adapt quickly to new scenarios that require specific skill sets and have high levels of ambiguity.
  • Demonstrate aptitude to analyze existing workflows, processes, supporting systems and procedures and identify improvements
  • Work independently and take initiative to develop and execute complex projects and tasks which contribute to efficiency and reduce costs
  • Design, modify, develop, and support development of high quality templates, reports and other written materials.
  • Work in cooperation with teams to coordinate production of final output to ensure timely completion of documentation projects.
  • Provide input on other technical writing projects by critiquing, editing, and proofreading materials prepared by others as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience in technical writing of Standard Operating Procedures.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality and/or Compliance discipline with in-depth knowledge of sterile manufacturing regulations and requirements.
  • Experience with design, qualification, and validation documents preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent influencing, facilitation and project management skills.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Proficient in creating flow charts and diagrams in programs such as Microsoft Visio.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
