Description

Packaging Line Technician with mechanical/electrical abilities and gowning procedures with aseptic qualifications who is able to function as a Setup, PM and changeover technician. Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues on packaging equipment will be a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Takes responsibility, overcomes obstacles, and escalates issues at the appropriate time, ability to change over packaging line equipment from one size and product to another with accurate documentation of the activities in accordance with procedures.
Able to perform corrective and preventative mechanical and or electrical maintenance aseptically
Knowledgeable in equipment trouble shooting. Able to assess impact on equipment /anomalies. Ability to make effective decisions and take action based on deductive reasoning and potential product impact.
Knowledgeable in mechanical and or some electrical / with packaging equipment.
Understanding of basic Mechanical and Electrical concepts.
Able to multi task with a "can do” attitude.
Effective verbal skills.
TEAM PLAYER.
Able to respond to faults and error messages, to assess potential product impact and act to identify and address root cause.
Able to identify improvement opportunities in given processes / procedures.
Knowledge of CGMP, SOP, Lock Out Tag Out, and OSHA regulations required.
Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
Maintain area orderly and clean during all operations.
Capable of working extended overtime hours.
Ability to train other Packaging Technicians.



Qualifications

Qualifications:
Knowledgeable in mechanical / electrical associated with Packaging Equipment. Knowledge in various Packaging Equipment (Bottle Filler, Bottle Unscrambler, Cartoners, Induction Sealer, Labeler, Case Tapers, Tube filler, Bundlers etc.)

Requirements:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to wear appropriate safety gear
Able to perform repairs for extended periods
Able to stand for extended periods

Education and Experience:
High school diploma /Trade School Required,
Equipment / Trouble Shooting Training desired.
2-5 years of experience in a Pharmaceutical environment.
