About the Opportunity
We are looking for talented and passionate IT Security professionals to join our Enterprise Architecture team. The Security professionals are required to work on the security portion of solutions and customer related deployments. Working with a high level of autonomy and requiring only occasional direction by a more senior resource, they will contribute significantly to the solution security development and client satisfaction.

Job description:
- Acts as an independent IT Security and Data Privacy Architect in support of large and complex multi-site, multi-geo, cloud-based telecommunications UC and CC solutions.
- Leading IT Security role on projects with the ability to guide customer and cross-functional internal/partner teams for IT Security and Data Privacy Architecture and Design.
- Develop and apply IT Security controls for both software products and cloud infrastructure following common compliance standards (e.g. CIS, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, NIST)
- Recommend improvements by assessing current IT Security implementations and anticipating new IT Security requirements
- Consult on and design IT Security and Data Privacy architecture and controls, both technical and operational.
- Perform IT Security hardening tasks
- Create project documentation (hardening reports, IT Security management processes, etc.)
- Support offer development
- Work with customers to understand their challenges and document requirements
- Work with limited guidance on projects within defined criteria.


- Security compliance – how to interpret security frameworks like PCI-DSS, CIS or NIST and translate them into security plans for development and deployment on Avaya products and cloud platforms.
- Risk Management – a good understanding of risk management to be able to consult with customer security teams and Risk Management representatives.
- A minimum of three years industry experience in Linux and Windows systems administration and security hardening.
- Familiarity with market leading cloud providers and their security concepts and tools.
- Has experience with Penetration/Vulnerability testing and tools like Tenable Nessus or Qualys, nmap, etc.
- Familiarity with the Linux command line and a capability to write basic scripts – BASH, Perl, Python, etc.
- Familiarity with encryption techniques, especially TLS hybrid, certificates, openssl, JKS, etc.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP and networking – concepts of switches, routers, IP networks, subnets, VLANs, etc.
- Good Communication Skills
- Good English language skills (spoken and written)
- Ability to work independently and in the team environments as well as with discipline in a remote/home working environment
- Willingness to travel
- Proven qualification in IT Security and/or operating system administration is an advantage – Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Specialist (CCSP), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), etc.

Experience: 3 - 5 Years of Experience in IT Security.
Education: Bachelor or Master of Science in Cybersecurity degree or equivalent experience in IT Security.
