Description

A Sr. System Administrator has the thorough knowledge to create plans to assure effective management, operations, and maintenance of systems and/or networks.  Manages teams of system admins and can prioritize work and identify high risk critical problems and dedicate appropriate resources.  Has extensive knowledge of a wide variety of systems and networks to include high volume/high availability systems.

This task requires applying analytical processes to the planning, design and implementation of new and improved information systems to meet the business requirements of customer organizations. 
- Full-time experience as a WebLogic administrator in a large IT Enterprise organization.
- Experience working with WebLogic Server 10.x to 12c, Administration, Installation, Configuration and Monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of WLST scripts, UNIX scripting and automation.
- Experience in Installation, Configuration and Administration of Web Servers (Tomcat, Apache and Oracle HTTP Server)
- Experience in 24x7 on-call production support and troubleshooting WebLogic Production problems. Set up Cluster, Tune & monitor any of the above-mentioned WebLogic suite of products
- Create JDBC, JMS, MQ and various other JEE resource
- Experience in finding the Memory Leaks and adjusting the JVM Heap Sizes and GC Parameters.
- Experience in Investigating and resolving performance issues by analyzing thread dump, GC values and heap dump
- Experience with configuring SSL: 1- way SSL and 2 - way SSL configuration.
- Extensive working experience on clustering, performance tuning (JVM options, Load Runner), load balancing, connection pool, multi pool, JMS message Queue and Monitoring
- Experience in Datasource configurations and creating connections pools
- Ability to automate admin functions using Jython, Ant & Shell scripts 
- Good networking and UNIX operating system skills 
- Provide application deployment and troubleshooting support to multiple developments, testing & production environments/teams.
- Strong Knowledge in Load balancing setup, application architecture
- Configure, administer and use Computer Associates Introscope J2EE performance monitoring.
- Document Web Logic best practices.



Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO PERFORM TASKS:
Five (5) years of strong industry experience in managing and developing programs using enterprise specifications. 
- Full-time experience as a WebLogic/middleware administrator in a large IT Enterprise organization.
- Experience in installing, configuring, deployment, troubleshooting and administering one or more of the above-mentioned products on Linux/windows platforms.
- Extensive experience with clustering and tuning.
- Set up security for the products listed above.
- Applying fix patches and fix packs.
- Able to setup SSL/LDAP configurations for the products listed above.
- Extensive experience creating JEE resources.
- Strong Java/JEE, XML & web services troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to automate admin functions using Jython, Ant & Shell scripts.
- Good networking and UNIX operating system skills.
- SOA architecture design and implementation.
- Debugging and problem-solving skills and an ability to communicate the resolution to the development team and the business line customer in a manner that allows both to make informed and accurate proactive decisions.
- Extensive experience in architecture, design, analysis and web development.
- Deep knowledge of J2EE and Web technologies such as Spring, EJB, Struts, JDO, Spring, Web Services, Hibernate, AJAX, WebLogic, WSRP, SSO, WebSphere, Tomcat, Apache, iPlanet, and IIS
- Deep knowledge of the entire lifecycle of public key cryptography and cross signing trusts.
- Two-way SSL security expert well versed in java, windows, Unix keystore technology and two-way cipher techniques for securing internet communication.
- Automation expert, including CA Release Automation, Puppet, Chef, Maven, Gradle, and Ant.
- NodeJS expert in microservice development and deployment.

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION/ MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 
Education Level    Bachelors Degree 
Degree In     Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required.
