Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Establish contract prices for all products at SKU level.
  • Recommend prices for new product launches that are based on market assumptions.
  • Review and recommend prices for new opportunities, and RFP's.
  • Handle meet the competition, and ROFR requests.
  • Recommend pricing based on understanding of customer terms and conditions in effect.
  • Standardize bid prices.
  • Update profit analysis templates as required with new products, revised nets.
  • Maintain and validate all pricing databases ensuring that pricing is current and accurate.
  • Provide analysis of pricing trends and opportunities.
  • Recommend and implement price increases and decreases based on market trends.
  • Prepare and implement WAC optimization strategy.
  • Notify wholesalers of indirect contract updates.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly price file.
  • Provide loss/gain analysis on all price revisions and gained and lost business.
  • Prepare reports and manage sales short-dated and overstock inventory.


Requirements:  Must have a minimum 2 years of experience in pricing and contracts in generic pharmaceuticals. Strong understanding of generic pharmaceutical industry, including pricing, customers, and wholesaler & retail business.  Excellent analytic skills and the ability to organize large amounts of data, and ability to identify trends.  Ability to work independently to meet goals.  Good communication and problem solving skills.
